| CUJ Campus at Brambe, Ranchi The State Government of Jharkhand has allotted a beautiful 40 acre campus at Brambe, some 25 kms away from Ranchi, the State capital, till we move to a permanent campus. At the Brambe campus, we look forward to a symbiotic assimilation of world class education structure with the best of Nature's benefits. The hi-tech infrastructure of the campus not only helps in honing the intellectual-edge of each learner, but it also accentuates the learner's assets to suit his needs in this globalized era. Rashtriya Vigyan Evam Prodyogiki Sanchar Parishad ( RVPSP/NCSTC), Department of Science & Technology (DST) celebrates National Science Day (NSD) on 28th February every year to confer National Awards in the field of science popularization and communication. Our Vice - Chancellor, Prof. D.T. Khathing, has been nominated as a Member of 'Award Selection Committee' for the prestigious National Awards to recognise the outstanding contribution / efforts made by individuals/ organizations. |

| Our First International Visitor | |
| Prof. Dr. Volker Buck of University of Duisburg Essen and the Vice-Chancellor of Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Prof. Dr. P.K. Barhai recently visited our campus. Dr. Buck is a professor in the Physics Department where he founded the Thin Film Technology Groups that works mainly on technical applications as well as modelling of thin films.His special interest is in tribological coatings, biomedical and barrier coatings. | |

The first Executive Council Meeting was held on the 10th of October 2009. The Vice-Chancellor Prof. D.T. Khathing was the chairperson.The EC adopted the ordinance of CUJ, besides endorsing six new courses. |
